HMI ANNUAL STAFF RETREAT
2009 PREVIEW
Hockey Ministries International has set plans for its 2009 Annual Staff Conference, scheduled for Sunday, September 13 through Wednesday, September 16. For a second consecutive year the staff conference will take place at the beautiful Stowehof Inn in Stowe, Vermont. Approximately 30 HMI staff members will gather for the four-day event.
 HMI’s staff meets from all over the globe during this time for a period of prayer, fellowship, planning and teaching. This year’s annual staff conference will feature special guest speaker, Walt Wiley, from the ministry Winning With Encouragement. Wiley is the former, 16-year chaplain for Major League Baseball’s
 Atlanta Braves. Today he heads Winning With Encouragement, a teaching and preaching ministry that equips Christians to be “encouragers,” and strengthens Christians from all walks of life. Walt’s speaking schedule and seminars find him sharing annually around the world. With his unique and special brand of humor mixed in with his messages, Wiley will be a blessing to the entire HMI staff.HMI President and Founder, Don Liesemer Sr. will give a "State of the Ministry" address, while other staff members will share how the Lord has blessed the ministry’s efforts this past year through chapels, camps and special events.
